Philadelphia, PA, January 21, 2010 — Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney proudly welcomes Mark Pfeiffer to the firm's Philadelphia office. Pfeiffer joins the Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Section as a senior attorney, focusing on commercial matters with an emphasis on bankruptcy and insolvency related cases.

Previously, Pfeiffer was with the law firm Fisher Zucker LLC, where he was an associate in the business litigation department. He has represented corporate creditors, debtors and Chapter 7 trustees in all aspects of bankruptcy, including Chapter 11 reorganizations. He also has significant commercial litigation experience, including first chair bench and jury trials.

Pfeiffer is the second addition to the firm's Bankruptcy Group within the last month. In December, senior attorney Peter Muth joined the firm's Buffalo office.
